Mission for the Analysis and Pharmaceutical Quality (APQ) Section
The APQ section strives to advance the pharmaceutical sciences by:
- Providing a forum for the open interchange, discussion and
dissemination of emerging scientific developments, technologies
and regulatory knowledge regarding analytical technologies and
quality assessments associated with pharmaceutical and biomedical
analysis;
- Providing a forum to discuss the impact of emerging scientific
developments and technologies
- Promote the continued growth and development of the science of
pharmaceutical analysis and technology;
- Fostering graduate education, career growth, and professional
development of the section membership;
- Encourage the publication of analytical research and pertinent
data in the official AAPS and APQ journals.
- Recognizing excellence in individual achievements and professional
contributions of APQ members; and
- Collaborating with and supporting other AAPS sections, focus
groups, and other professional/scientific organizations.
Vision for the Analysis and Pharmaceutical Quality (APQ) Section
The APQ Section will be recognized as the premiere global organization
for scientists involved in the analysis, bioanalysis and quality
assessments of pharmaceutical compounds. APQ will promote the
visibility and prestige of the Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical
Analysis to become the premiere international journal in pharmaceutical
analysis and technologies;
Sponsor and co-sponsor meetings, symposia, and workshops;
Recommend and support APQ members for election and/or appointment to
scientific societies, councils or fellowships; and
Collaborate with other sections of AAPS and/or other
professional/scientific organizations to advance innovative analytical
technologies.
